Formation
Besides getting on-going formation, we also provide formation for various other groups.
Dar Ġużeppa Debono Board members
During Dar Ġużeppa Debono Board meetings, ‘….any decision making and/or any policy making shall always be taken in the spirit of the objectives of this Association and also in line with the spirit of the ANAWIM community’ (DĠD Statute 6.6). To ensure this, ‘during every meeting of the said Board, the initial part of the meeting shall be dedicated to the formation of the Board in the spirituality of the ANAWIM Community’ (DĠD Statute 6.7).
Anawim Family
The members of this group receive formation through meetings that take place once a month within a specific programme.
Those Who Give Specific Service
Training is given to those who give a particular service such as spiritual accompaniment during pregnancy.
Those Expecting a Child
Focus groups during pregnancy are given the opportunity to make their own birth plan. Couples are offered parental skills for their post-natal period.
Parishes
Eucharistic Adoration in honour of Jesus who was conceived in the womb of the Virgin Mary is held on a monthly basis in one or other of our parishes. A particular bibblical aspect about the topic is presented. In preparation for the adoration, various meetings are held with the parish council members, catechists, youth and children. Following the adoration, the Spiritual adoption proposal is presented during the weekend Eucharistic celebrations. All these are moments of formation about the value of life in the light of Jesus’ conception in Mary’s womb.
